Dressing Stylishly For Work

It’s that same feeling you have when you wake up in the morning – what am I going to wear today?! It’s a very tough question, especially when we’re dressing for work. I am little organised when it comes to my work attire – I like to know what I’m wearing the night before and have it ready to throw on in the morning, just so I’m not wasting time trying to make a decision. Very sensible if I don’t say so myself!

And as times change, and dressing for the office can now be quite casual (well typically in the creative world) what do we wear?

I always dress depending on my mood, but in general I like to look smart.

I love my boyfriend blazer, it’s easy to put together with most outfits, and can make the smartest looks stand out, or a more casual outfit look smarter.

These wide leg trousers have also become a favourite addition to my wardrobe. They are very flattering, comfortable and super smart. Teamed with a pair of heels and whack on a simple top, or a striped one like the one I am wearing, giving the outfit a little Parisian chic; there you have a smart causal look to take you to work.

For a more laid-back appearance, I would wear a pair of white trainers instead of heels. Either is just as effective, and very stylish in the modern working office. Instead of a blazer and top, you could go for a classic white shirt too. The trousers are a statement piece so once you start with them, you’re already there!

And there you have it, A simple but chic look that can also he alternated.

So how would you dress for work?
